Charlie´s life

Charles Spencer Chaplin was born on April 16th 1889in London in the tipical suburban surroundings. The father worked for the music-ball, drunk and died when Charlie was a child. The mother who was a mediocre siuger, and had problems to find a work, put Charlie and Sidney (the four years older brother)in an orphanage for 2 years.They had a poor and sorrowful childhood and had experience in the world of the circus. When he was almost twenty he already was a famous thetre artist of Fred Carno`s environment troupe. When he became famous and rich he directed his ten masterpieces from 1923to 1953. At the age of 83, 5 years before his death, he obtained the first oscar.
