The first tramp

(With the too large trousers, the too big shoes and the bambu stick)

His first paces:

During a tour to Hollywood, for the first time he played the very human character "Charlie"- a vagabond not without dignity in a series of short comedies. Later he changed the character into "Charlot"with his tipical short black mustache, his bowler, his short and tight jacket, his large and out of shape trousers, the bambu stick and the too big shoes.

With this character he left an indelible trace, which was imitated many times in the story of the cinema.
